Mr Nicholas Hodgins is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon currently working within the Plastic Surgery departments of the Ulster and Royal Victoria Hospitals. Mr Hodgins undertook his medical studies and higher surgical training in a number of prestigious plastic surgery centres around the UK including Newcastle Upon Tyne, Durham, Manchester, Middlesbrough and Belfast. On completing his plastic surgery training Mr Hodgins was nationally appointed to undertake an oncoplastic breast surgery fellowship at the Nightingale Breast Centre in Manchester, one of the largest and most reputable breast surgery units in Europe. During this period Mr Hodgins underwent subspecialist training in all aspects of oncological, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the breast.
Following this period of specialist training, Mr Hodgins was one of four UK Plastic Surgeons to be awarded the Niall Kirkpatrick Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). During this dedicated period of subspecialist practice, he gained expertise in a wide range of cosmetic surgery including breast, abdominal, facial and eyelid surgery. Having been trained by leaders in this field, his exposure to the discipline of aesthetic surgery is extensive. Mr Hodgins is known in particular for his specialist aesthetic experience in breast and body procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lifting and tummy tucks. He also has comprehensive experience in non-surgical aesthetic treatments, often combining these with surgical procedures to achieve ideal results.
Mr Hodgins is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and the ABS (Association of Breast Surgeons). He is fully registered as a specialist in plastic surgery with the General Medical Council. Academically he has authored 13 peer-reviewed publications, delivered 16 international and national presentations and won 3 national prizes for his work. He enjoys teaching plastic surgeons of the future and is regularly involved as a faculty member on the North East Flap and Microsurgery courses.

Michael McBride completed his medical studies at Queen's University Belfast. His early surgical training took place in Northern Ireland and subsequent advanced specialist training / Fellowships in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery across a number of UK, European and International centres. These included Belfast, Glasgow, Salisbury, Southampton, Newcastle, London, Hull, Paris, Barcelona, Zurich, Helsinki, Florence, Pakistan and India. During this period he completed the only nationally awarded fellowship (BAAPS / BAPRAS) in Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine. He has been comprehensively trained across the breadth of Plastic Surgery including many advanced, innovative techniques.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, fully licensed with the General Medical Council (GMC 7140624) and fully accredited on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is a full time NHS appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Belfast - working across the Ulster, Royal Victoria, Belfast City and Musgrave Park Hospitals.
His specialist interests are in aesthetic surgery, lower limb reconstruction, hands, peripheral nerve surgery, facial palsy, abdominal wall, and perineal reconstruction.
His academic achievements include the completion of 4 post-graduate degrees with distinction - Surgical Sciences (Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh), Reconstructive Microsurgery (The European School of Microsurgery, Barcelona), The European Board of Hand Surgery Diploma and Diploma in Orthopaedic Oncology. He has published extensively in the peer-reviewed Plastic Surgery literature, in addition to presenting his work both nationally and internationally, receiving prizes for these. He is actively involved in teaching both at undergraduate and postgraduate level and is a member of 9 learned Plastic Surgery societies.

Alan J Park has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 2000, having graduated from Glasgow University in 1988. He has a broad training in surgery in general and trained in Plastic Surgery in Edinburgh, Cambridge and the West Midlands with a fellowship in Paediatric Plastic Surgery in Toronto in 2000.
Alan has published many papers and arranged international meetings on cosmetic reconstructive breast surgery and hypospadias. He is a member of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and of The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
Alan’s time is divided between the NHS and the private sector. For the NHS, he is based at The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, where he is head of the Department.-
